Friday team Arizona

Friday morning, we went to the ceremonial grounds on the reservation. We were able to see the Apache Indian Tribal Council building. We prayed for the Council, so that they could be supportive of the Apache tribe. After that, we went to a Apache flea market, to see the homemade jewelry and clothing. It was nice to see the beautiful creations that the women made. In this afternoon, we are going to the nature park to have a devotion, called Lectio Divina. We are going to take time for prayer, and be present in the moment.
We have been talking to the missionaries about what they are going to do with the Apache Youth next school year. We found that they are going to start an enrichment program with the Apache kids. They are going to provide education on certain skills, including cooking, fixing a car, and survival methods. The missionaries are excited to see how it works out.
Tomorrow, we are leaving the reservation and going back home. We are going to miss being here a lot, but we are looking forward to sharing our stories. We cannot wait to see how God works in the reservation and in the Apache tribe’s lives. This has been a life changing trip!

In Christ,
Jada V
