Faith Wins!!
Unless you attempt to do something beyond that which you have already mastered you will never grow. This trip has been a faith journey for everyone. It was something out of our comfort zone, but something we were willing to do and boy are we forever grateful for this opportunity!
Our day started with our devotion with Randy and Thomas. Faith was our topic today. What is faith? Faith is supernatural power that can transform any negative situation in your life. 1 John 5:4 says that faith is the victory that allows you to overcome anything that you encounter in this world.
In Luke 22:32 Jesus prays for us that our faith will not fail! Further in the devotion we begin to delve deeper as Thomas shared 12 words that define how to practically operate in faith:- Faith is your response to the situation you want to change
- Faith is the decision you make relative to the outcome of the situation.
- Faith is receiving evidence from the written Word of God.
- Faith is making daily deposits of God’s truth into your mind
- Faith is meditating on the Truth rather than worrying about the problem
- Faith is using your imagination to picture what you want in your mind
- Faith is making confessions that agree with God
- Faith is love that obeys God’s commandments.
- Faith is being patient enough to endure the present circumstances while you praise God for what will take place in the future.
- Faith is being sensitive to time & season
- Faith is constantly giving God the glory for the answer
- Faith is standing on the Word of God until manifestation arrives

Our morning and afternoon devotion was dedicated to Jesus’ resurrection. John 11:25, Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.” We use the white ball and white bracelet to symbolize the resurrection. We had the children reciting VICTORY, VICTORY, and VICTORY!
The evening started with an appreciation night for our gracious hosts—Jeff, Erinn, Julia, Nate and Sam as we traveled out downtown and treated them for dinner. The evening ended with Randy and Thomas testimony.
