“ONE CHURCH….ONE GOD”

This is my first Missionary trip and yesterday was our first day here in the school of Turkana. I love the vacation bible study we have in the mornings. The kids are just amazing and so excited to have us here. Patty and I are teaching about China and that the children are no different from them.
Yesterday morning I looked at them as beautiful children living in poverty, but after two home visits in the afternoon to some of the student’s home, it changed my thinking it changed my heart, and changed my FAITH.
Nothing and I mean nothing can prepare you for what you see and experience here in Africa. My heart is hurting and I know GOD’s heart is hurting with the living standards here in the desserts and with so many non-believers.
We came back from the home visits and I couldn’t stop crying from what I have seen. The word POVERTY is mild to what this people have. THEY HAVE NOTHING… I MEAN NOTHING!!!!
I CAN’T stop THANKING GOD enough for my LIFE for my family, for my health, for the LIFE he had chosen for me. I CAN’T stop THANKING OUR LORD enough for MISSIONS of HOPE, for all the people that are working this amazing organization, and to all the children’s SPONSERS back home that make truly a DIFFERNCE in this children’s LIFE.
Please continue to PRAY for our TEAM.
Sending lots of LOVE back to MD.
