"though we didn’t know the language..." #MtnDR15m Day 3 4-Octubre

We woke up and had breakfast at 8:00am. We had cereal, toast, and ham. This morning we attended Sunday service at 9:00am on the second floor of where we are staying. Some people came in, knelt down and prayed in their chair.

Even though we didn’t know the language, the worship was powerful. Lloyd had the opportunity to introduce our team and shared his testimony. Afterwards, Pastor Tom gave a teaching on relationships with spouses, with God, and with others, while Lloyd translated.

We came back downstairs to have some down time and ate lunch. Our lunch entailed: rice, beans, beef, and salad.

Abigail got ready for her 16th birthday pictures. Abigail is the daughter of Pastor Alberto. They live in Santiago and came to the church, in Monte Cristi, for a weekend visit. Rayona worked very hard on her hair and make-up. She looked beautiful.

Rayona and Sara went to one side of the beach to take pictures of Abigail,
while the rest of us went to another side.

We used this time as team building
and to enjoy some time together.
Rayona and Sara met up with us
at the beach
and we finished our night with games.
