Hello everyone,
Yesterday was a really cool day
filled with mold, food, worship and bowling. A few of us had the opportunity to
help out a local family and clean out some mold that had been growing in their
home. We killed the mold and scraped it away and then ensured it wouldn’t grow
back. We primed yesterday and then put the first coat of paint on today. Those
that did not participate received discipleship training from Heather Gentile.
They took part in an activity called the Prayer Wheel. It is an hour exercise
broken up into twelve 5 minute exercises. Some of the exercises include praise,
singing and meditation. It gives people the opportunity to spend an hour with
God.
After we finished yesterday, we had
the pleasure of eating dinner with some University students from a local church
and then went bowling to finish off a great day. The relationships that are
being built and the discipleship that is growing is very exciting! We are
looking forward to getting to know the University students on a deeper level
and learning their stories of how they have come to know God. I would also like to mention that team USA won
with our first place scoring 111 points:-)
Please continue to pray for us as
we work on these relationships!

As an outreach (Love Does) to the down stairs neighbor, Guisy (pronounced Juicy!) who is a single mom (see her in a picture at the bottom), our team is doing some cleaning and painting.
The church here is discipling college students and much of what we are doing while here includes their presence. There has bee A LOT of laughter and fun as we play games and "learn" some Italian from our new friends...pictured are Martina and Christina.
As a way to say 'thank you' Guisy provided lunch for us...pray for her and her son, David, to be open to see Christ both through us and the Missionaries on the Team here.
