On Saturday, we visited Pangani school again, this time taking a tour of the classrooms and building. The school towers four to five stories tall over the slums. Many of the children come from the slums, and we met some of them when we walked through Area 1 of the slums. Children grabbed our hands and wanted us to take their pictures.

Meet Grace--she cares for and provides for her children and grandchildren. All she has is a small 6 square foot house in the slums with chairs inside that they sleep on. She provides for her family by cooking and selling food.  Even though she lives a hard life, she has such strong faith in God. She was overcome with Emotion as we prayed with her.  Seeing Grace live true grace as she praises God for her health and dedication to raise her grandchildren is inspiring. She praises God ev en when she has nothing. She is not bitter but thankful and prayerful in everything. What a lesson and inspiration for those of us who complain and harbor bitterness toward God for the bad and challenging times.
