Blessed in KENYA!

Greetings from Kenya!

Today we learned about Mission of Hope's Business Development Services (BDS).  God is at work through the workers who provide business loans so people are empowered to pull themselves out of poverty.

We visited Kariobangi which has recently been renamed the Mission of Hope International Technical Training College.  This Christ Centered program helps to save and build lives  for the people living in poverty in the Mathare Valley.  Within the walls of the buildings, Kenyans are being trained in fashion and design, jewelry, welding, sewing, and carpentry.  At this center, they sew all of the uniforms for  the MOHI students.  They also have just started a computer training program teaching computer skills.  They have 22 computers and 44 students currently in the program.
