A Full Day and Full Hearts
Go with plans but be flexible. That sums up today. Jim and I were ready to teach the men how to build lockers (desks) but today, Moses spent the day procuring supplies. Hakuna Matata (no worries), we spent the day in the community doing home visits with the CHE coordinators and social workers; George, McKenna, Theresa,, Robert and Boniface. God showed up!
We shared HIV education with over 30 people, met and prayed with MoHI students and parents and shared the love and hope of Jesus with many. We used the HIV cubes, Evangecubes, and interpretation by our MoHI friends when necessary. The angels rejoiced with us as 6 folks made decisions to trust and follow Jesus; old and young, married and single, it was a great kingdom day in the community.
In addition to this, Sue, Jennifer and Debbie were able to work in the library with Phoebe all afternoon.
We ended our day with Wallace and Mary Kamau, enjoying a meal, fellowship and dreams of the future for MoHI. We are all rejoicing, and have only one response "The LORD has done this and it is marvelous in our eyes."
