God on the move!

There's No Stopping Our God!
Today started out really early, as we welcomed in 9 additional Mountain Team Kenya folks, who will be here through July 5th. Jim and Sue will be here throughout the whole time, while Debbie, Jennifer and Mike will be heading home on June 30th.
Today was a holiday in Kenya (the Muslim celebration of Eid Al-Fitr, the end of Ramadan), and the schools were closed, but the MoHI staff at Kariobangi made special arrangements for Jim and Mike to continue working with the men. A small MoHI staff was in, and our men were treated to a fine lunch and tea time. Quite a blessing for us and them!
We continued making progress on the lockers, as you can see in the pictures. By the time Jim leaves, we will have fully completed 18 lockers, but more importantly, we will have trained at least 1 guy in each important aspect of desk construction, shared lessons on Pursuing the Character of God and shared Jesus time and time again. Our prayer is that each man has a new skill and a new heart for Christ.
Debbie will provide an update on the ladies activities, which included spending time with Katie and Hanna Gerber. The ladies have had the opportunity to bless the Gerbers, and today was another time of connection and encouragement.
We ended our night by having dinner with our driver, Peter, and his family. See the pictures of Peter, Jane, Gloria and Victor. Peter is a great friend who has served us well
