Another GREAT Day.

Day of 06-30-17

Not just another day at the ranch, we had another great (and final with the children)  at Missions of Hope school at Pangani! We did crafts, singing, dancing, snack time, and play time with the children. In the afternoon, the children put on a show of appreciation for the Mountain Church folks. The children, teachers, and social workers had decorated the open area. , The children came over to each of us and escorted us to our seats as the ceremonies began. One of the the social workers was the master of ceremonies. She lead us in a line dance as we were being escorted to our seats. We were placed in the first row center stage. Some of the children along with one of their teachers got up and started to sing with appreciation for the things we have done with the children in the past few days.

They also brought up some of our team on stage to dance with them as they sang. Next, another group of children got on stage and started to sing as they used the plate drum that we had made that day with the children. Next, the choir got up on stage with the  music teacher and sang us another song. Another girl got on stage to read us a poem. Then the head teacher got on stage and said a few words. Next, the teachers presented to our team a cake that said" Mountain CC we Appreciate the continuous support come again ! The children came around and brought each person from Mountain a piece of cake. The mountain team then got plates of cake and then handed it out to the students in the room. We all started to dance with the music playing and the children dancing with all of us. Then the children gave each one of us a special frame with a special thank you inside, Asante Sana !

We finished the ceremony with fun time with the children. Some of us danced and others were just getting to know the children better for this was the last day at Missions of Hope in Pangani.
