Brief update and reflection on our day yesterday (as we
sit in the airport waiting to board our flight to Turkana). Spent the day with Mohi for orientation,
learning about the story and history of the organization which started with
only 50 kids in a rented two bedroom home.
With God‘s provision, partnerships with US churches, and a lot of hard
work, Mohi has grown to have 23 schools and almost 19,000 children being cared
for!!! We had a wonderful surprise
today as we met one of the original 50 children, he started in the school when
he was only five years old. His name is Anthony, he now works for missions of
hope and coordinates a sports ministry program where he connects with children
and forms relationships through sports.
We are off to turkana, more to share soon!!
