ok...off to Brazil for a FIRST TIME EVER GO Trip with guys from our MCC Worship Team

Mark, Alan, Eric and I are heading to South America to share some MCC Worship values and principles with our friends as well as learn from them about worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth... Prayers appreciated...MUCH more to come!

here are the Team's reflections so far

Toured the University Campus yesterday before the BIG night at Casa Verde and En Vivo. It's the inviting event that draws 150ish students for dinner and worship...lots of FUN! Now, hear from the team regarding how it's going and what they're thinking... From Isabelle... My time in Mexico so far has been filled with sore cheeks from smiling so much & core work-outs from laughing so hard. The little kid inside of me is being revived with every little flashback of my childhood; scraped knees from diving for candy under a piñata or having my days structured around the next meal, enjoying fellowship over good food. I’m finding that Mexico has a certain magic similar to my own culture & a people so joyous & homey & welcoming. Feeling left out is impossible & the shy side of me has found no place here. Life is predicated on PRESENCE...

The Campus Ministry here at El Pozo is all about relationships...new ones, stronger ones, deeper ones and growing ones. Our GO Team has been immersed in these relationships since we arrived...and we are loving it! Life is predicated on PRESENCE...being WITH, laughing, sharing, eating, doing. That's a LOT like how Jesus made disciples...He is WITH us! Jesus also invested in people around tables...it's kind of the crucible of life; like the epicenter where we find community, acceptance and love...not to mention great food! Being around tables with Staff/Students is always a highlight of GO Trips here... Oh, and I almost forgot, gotta see some Lucha Libre while here...and we did so with 5 peeps from El Pozo... And Will REALLY got into it... So, your prayers for these relationships to flourish are much needed! Today we will tour the University and eat lunch on campus then we will help prepare for and execute El...
