relationships, dirty sinks and Jesus

First full day (yesterday) was filled with rest, worship, new friends, and a tour of Cholula...check it out.

Been fun hanging with Courtney Wilson's kids, Phoenix and Dominic...Victoria is off to play on playground. The 5 of us are staying in the homes of Globalscope Missionaries...love to do this so we can get to know them much better.

Then off to worship...

The ministry encourages students to go to "Fuente" (lit. Move Forward) church...lots of young adult peeps there.

Got us hungry for lunch...

Everything we do we do with students from the ministry...love that. Many speak English well so we can have substantive conversations about life and faith. Gil commented that the things he us hearing hear from young adults are VERY similar to the same age group in the US. Pray for the Students see and hear Jesus through us.

Than a tour of town...

We are in Cholula (kind of a suburb of Puebla) with great views over the city.

Today (monday) we get to work helping clean a d prepare the new Casa Verde location that is soon to be a new hub for outreach to the campus.  It's an awesome location right across the street from the university and on the "main-drag" of lots of restaurants and coffee shops!  So we get to cleaning...

As we are cleaning the Leadership team is meeting to plan next steps for the ministry and the new space.
