arrived Rome...tired but excited

Trekking through IAD airport on way to gate...anticipation and expectancy.

on board Italian Air settling in for 8.5 hours to destination.

Arrived Dot's house (one of the Missionaries here) and tried staying awake long enough to eat lunch...

Had to do a bit of shopping for supplies...thanks, Mike for hauling the cart...

After lunch we walked on the Appian Way, the same road Paul walked on his journey to Rome where he came under house arrest.  Luke would have been with him on the journey...Acts 28 ‭‭-  There we found some brothers and sisters who invited us to spend a week with them. And so we came to Rome. 

Check out the shirt...Luke 13.29 People with come from east and west, north and south and take their places at the Feast in the Kingdom of God.  Love that Luke wrote that and we were "with" him on the road.

After our hike and before dinner we shared in a Bible study of Romans 15 with some peeps from the ministry here.  Great verse from 15.13 which just how we choose to invest our days here alongside our Mission Partners...‭‭May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit

So...prayers appreciated as we rest a bunch tonight and start our outreach in the city parks tomorrow!
