yesterday in the books

Reflection from yesterday from Kim...

Today!  We have been on the ground for roughly 8 hours and so much has been seen, shared, experienced and felt.  We made it through customs with no issues, all bags were through, visa’s issued, unpacked, toured the campus,  and we are ready for tomorrow.  So many changes have happened since last year.  The school had some pretty incredible upgrades, the vision has been cast for the week, the high 5’s shared as we came out of the school gave us bright smiles as well as happy feet jumping up and down in excitement, to the small to us but big changes in the surrounding area, to the group of young men who drive past us in a TacaTaca, pointing to the roof in good fun, to then stop, reverse, unload out of the back to tell us to get on for simple handshakes.  Anthony captured the moment in the photo below….. love comes in all shapes and sizes, it knows no bounds and in its simplest form, impacted a team of 10 as the highlight of their day❤️❤️❤️. This is the single most important thing we can do…love❤️

Inside the taca taca...public transport is our commute daily.  Great way to be immersed in the culture with the peeps.

At the Mission House getting stuff ready for the week and meeting the neighborhood kids.

Adriana is one of the Missionaries here from Brazil. She's been here 6 years and is very well known in the 'hood'. She stared an outreach on Monday nights with kids around house, pretty much all of whom come from non-believing families. We will Caleb and Susan will lead the time this Monday.

We all slept well...could tell because of all the snoring...YIKES!

So, off and running. Heading to worship with our Guinean Family of Faith!  Que Deus Seja Louvado!
