Student Team on the ground in Arizona...in the SNOW!!!

Day One in AZ:

THERE’S SNOW! We woke up to about an inch of snow here in the mountains of Arizona. Our place is at an elevation level of about 6000 feet. 

This morning, we attended White Mountain Apache Christian Church alongside our ministry partners for the week, Curtis Clark and his wife Jordan. 

Our team was heavily involved in kids ministry - teaching large group, leading small group, holding babies. You name it! 

After church, Curtis and Jordan drove us around the Apache reservation, pointing out significant locations and areas. Fun fact: the reservation, in terms of land size, is bigger than some of the states on the east coast!! We had the opportunity to pray over the tribal leaders and the reservation as a whole towards the end. 

Now… we’re going to Walmart to stock up on groceries for the week. More to come!
