day one...full day...plans change...no problem

Team is doing great! Our Orientation to MOHI was done at our lodging by Mary Kamau herself...what a blessing to hear all the stories of faithfulness and obedience right from her. It's truly inspiring and edifying hearing of God's providence to go from Mary as a young college girl playing with and teaching 50 kids in a field in the valley to now over 30K students and 1700 MOHI Staff.
You may have heard of the protest happening in Nairobi. It's over taxation policies the government recently employed. Want you all to know we are safe and far away from the protest. MOHI staff, and US Missionaries are monitoring the situation and adapting schedules accordingly...we will never be in harms way. Keep praying for peaceful outcomes.

We are doing last minute prep for the VBS and look forward to being with the kids over the next few days.
We are eating well and having fun around the table.
the hospitality here is quite amazing making us feel at home and cared for. This is Lucy who takes great care of us...Asante, Lucy!
Off to sleep now 10pm here 3pm there...keep praying!
