Our GO Teams are challenged at various points before, during, and after the trip to come up with ONE word that describes their state of being at that moment. Here are their words from Tuesday...

- intentional
- eager
- excited
- expectant
- full
- open
- ready
- anticipating
- excited
Tuesday we went to a coffee shop on campus to make ourselves available for conversations with students and invite them to the Campus House for some food, fun and fellowship. Here is Nick, an Electrical Engineers himself, talking with a couple Electrical Engineering students about their studies.
This is our strategy while here...make ourselves available for the Holy Spirit to work through us and draw students IN! Whether coffee, art, basketball, frisbee, 9 square or food we pray our presence will draw a crowd and we can start people toward Jesus.
Last night was the "main inviting event" at Grapevine called Souper Tuesday, a weekly supper, games, message and discussion time to help students catch a glimpse of Jesus. After some delicious chicken and pineapple soup, Scott and Ari shared their testimonies and James sang one of his original songs. Then we watched the scene from the Chosen of Jesus meeting the Woman at the Well from John 4 flowed by discussion groups talking about unconditional love God has for us. Present in the room were people from Myanmar, Pakistan, India, Philippines, Thailand and USA. Continue to pray for Grapevine as they open doors to Christ.
