Mary Bach says...
Maundy Thursday service was really special. It was a GIFT to participate as a non staffer that had a role and could be fully present. I loved being able to quiet my soul to focus on the words and imaging in my mind. The music (piano and violin) was sooo beautiful. It made the experience even more special. It was good to see all ages (very young to older participate.
Easter in the park was fun (and cold)🥶. One young mom with 3 young girls touched my heart this morning. Not sure where dad was, but she had her hands full. They got their picture taken - including the mom. What a great memory if Easter in the park when those girls are older and look back at this precious picture. It was great to serve with this church that cares so deeply for people.
We had the opportunity to reset the church for Sunday services. Diane told a story about a church that grew as a result of praying in a square around chairs in the church for 15 years. I wish I would have thought to pray for the person(s) that could be sitting in each one of those chairs as we unstacked and placed them on the floor. When I’m in that church on Sunday I want to pray for the people that are occcupying a chair but also for the empty chair that is just waiting for its sheep whose in search of a shepherd 🙏🏻
