Boa noite família ❤️ Today was a long day but a fruitful one. We started the day bright and early at 7:30 and headed up an 1 1/2 drive to Serra Grande which is in the mountain region of Paraiba (the state we are in). Despite a hot day in an outside amphitheater, we were able to reach over 200 kids in just one day!! Got to meet some amazing kids and bonded over knowing the 6 7 meme 😂 Had a small rest and were up and raring to go for the evening worship 🎵 Where Daminion (I probably spelled his name VERY wrong) brought a beautiful message about running away from sin and towards Jesus. A key thing he talked about was that holiness is not perfection. Perfection is Jesus. We finished the night off with the most AMAZING pizza I’ve ever tasted 😋 So blessed to be able to call Igreja Batista Central our mission partners and so pumped up to reach even more people tomorrow. Today overall was a great day! We danced to songs that brought out the child in you and it was incredible to see the faces of the kids when they realized they knew the songs.😊Lunch was great! We got to see how the people of the church step in to cook a delicious home cooked meal 🍽️ . In the afternoon the heat 🔥 was intense but so was the impact. These kids truly loved the message and the crazy Americans. 🤪 We got to finish the night off in community by going to a local pizzeria. 😋 Can’t wait for a mini rest day full of shopping 🛍️ , exploring 🧭and as always, great food.🥘 Then off we go to reach the youth of the area and pour into the married couples of the area!
