Second to last day reflections...

Hearing voices singing, praying, and reading the Bible in the Sinhala language and in a country where many do not know the Lord was beautiful! I continue to be struck by the bold faith we are witnessing along with a passion for following the Lord and pointing others to Him. It is encouraging to see so many young people serving in the local churches. The hope of Christ is transforming families and communities one by one!

Sujay did an amazing job "preaching" 😄 this morning. Afterwards, Pastor Charaka was inspired to do an altar call, something he's never done before, and 4 people came forward to accept Jesus as their Savior! And many others re-committed their lives to Christ. The Holy Spirit's impact was really evident. I was also very moved when we were worshipping in different languages, but all singing the same song to God. What a beautiful picture of His Kingdom here on earth!

We shared a wonderful morning with the ladies, baking, playing games, making vision boards, and sharing my testimony.  Such a sweet time!!

Our vision trip has been just that...giving us a vision for how we can invest Kingdom resources in Kingdom edification.   More detail later...more pictures for now...

point is, as you can see, we've had a LOT of fun along the way and we are better disciples for it.  Following Jesus all over the planet changes us probably more than those we encounter SO THAT we are better equipped and prepared to give a reason for the hope that IS within US!!!
