Tuesday is the biggest day for the Grapevine Campus Ministry here in Thailand...lots of food, fellowship and fun. After a great Filipino dinner of pork and chicken 25 of us (students, staff and MCC peeps) played a few group games then gathered in small groups to discuss the story of Old Testament figure of Jacob and his courting of Rachel but being tricked into marrying Leah. The questions were regarding value and choice...great discussions.
here are some thoughts from the Team.
Students from India, Myanmar, Nigeria, Thailand and Philippines gathered for a great Souper Tuesday!
Bryan: This year at Grapevine in Thailand 🇹🇠has been so fulfilling so far! Rekindling relationships with the Bernadino’s and the the grapevine staff has been incredible! Watching God move and orchestrate our steps and connections is just inspiring. A am amazed at what God as done in just a short time with our MTN team and the team here on long term mission in Thailand 🇹ðŸ‡! And it’s only been a couple of days!
Wendy - I am thrilled to see our friends Mark, Princess, their children, Hannah, James and Kylie. This evening we got to catch up with students we know (those of us back for the 3rd yr.) and meeting new friends. There were Muslim neighbors, and many from Buddhist backgrounds . 2 Christians have joined the group and said there was no where else around for Christian fellowship. This mission is doing extraordinary work.

I have really enjoyed gaining new perspectives and sitting with the weight of how blessed i am as an american citizen. i was able to gain insight into the young adult culture here in thailand & i was able to find so many similarities between us all even though we are from different parts of the world. it brought a level of comfort and gratitude that i will always carry with me
Elisia - Being here with an expectant heart ❤️ I feel this journey exceeded my expectations. To see the power of God manifesting in these young people is amazing. Grapevine is the light in the darkness, praise God for Mark, Princess and their family who continue to hold the candle. I feel blessed.
One of our major and multi day projects is to paint all the inside walls of the campus house. Today (Tuesday) we prepped and Wednesday and Thursday we paint.
Oh...and we stop for some fun too!
